How to edit information on a Dropbox invoice

Invoice editing is only available to Dropbox Professional accounts and Dropbox Business admins with subscriptions.
If you have a Dropbox Professional account or you’re the team admin for a Dropbox Business account, you can update your billing name, billing address, and VAT ID (future invoices only).

Dropbox Professional 

To edit the billing information on past or future invoices for your Dropbox Professional account:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click your profile picture or grey circle in the upper right corner. 
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click the Billing tab.
  5. To edit future invoices: Beside Invoice details, click either Update or Add invoice details.
  6. To edit past invoices: Under Billing history, click Edit beside the invoice you’d like to change.
  7. Click Save changes.

Dropbox Business 

If you are the team admin for a Dropbox Business account, you can edit or customize the billing information for past or future invoices. To do so:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com with your admin account.
  2. Click Admin console on the left-hand side. 
  3. Click the Billing tab.
  4. Click Billing history.
  5. To edit a past invoice: Locate the invoice you'd like to change, and click Edit beside it.
  6. To edit a future invoice: Click the blue Edit invoice details button to the right.
  7. You can then change the billing name, billing address, city, state and, when applicable, VAT ID.
  8. Click Save changes.

Note: If you edit a VAT ID, any tax rate changes will only be applied to future bills.

Dropbox Plus

You can change your company name if you have a Dropbox Plus subscription. To have your company name appear on future invoices, your company’s name must be the name associated with your account. Learn how to change your account name.
