How to change the folder destination for signed documents in Dropbox Sign

Important: The Dropbox Sign for SharePoint integration is being discontinued, starting March 16, 2026. After this date, you can use an alternative like a custom API integration or an integration with a similar service provider. Go to our developer portal for more information.

By default, signed documents will be saved back into the same folder as the original document. If you’re a site admin, you can choose a new folder for your signed documents to be saved into. You can also move signed documents just like any other files in SharePoint.

To change the folder destination for signed documents:
 
  1. Log in to SharePoint with your site admin credentials.
  2. Go to the SharePoint site you’d like to change the folder destination for.
  3. Click Documents in the left sidebar.
  4. Click Dropbox Sign above the documents list.
  5. Click Admin settings.
  6. Click Doc Destination Path in the left sidebar.
  7. Click New folder.
  8. Go to the folder you’d like to save signed documents to.
  9. Click Save Folder Location.
