How to download or print files as visitors in Dropbox DocSend

Overview

Have you received a document you'd like to save? In some cases, shared content can be downloaded or printed from the DocSend document viewer. Follow the steps below to download or print shared content from the document viewer.

Download a Document

If the document owner has enabled downloading on a shared document, you can click the download icon in the top right-hand corner of the document viewer to download it.

Print a Document

You can also print a shared document if the document owner has enabled downloading. If you prefer to print a document directly, you can click the print icon in the top right-hand corner to print it from the document viewer.

Downloading and Printing are Disabled

In certain cases, a document owner may restrict visitors from downloading or printing their shared content. This is true if you don't see the download/print icons in the document viewer.

If you need to download or print the shared content, we recommend reaching out to the document owner to update the link settings.
