Connect cloud storage providers in Dropbox DocSend

The information in this article applies to customers on all DocSend plans.

Overview

You can upload documents or folder structures up to 2 GB using any of the providers listed below. With Google, you also have the ability to upload from shared, Team drives, and personal drives. 

  • Box
  • Dropbox
  • Google Drive
  • OneDrive
  • Egnyte
  • Sharepoint

Connect Dropbox

To upload your Dropbox content, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to docsend.com.
  2. Click Content library in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Cloud storage.
  5. Select Dropbox from the service options provided.
  6. Enter your Dropbox login credentials.          
  7. Click Allow DocSend to access your Dropbox account so you can start uploading files.

Note: You can connect to multiple Dropbox accounts if desired.

Connect Box

To upload your Box content, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to docsend.com.
  2. Click Content library in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Cloud storage.
  5. Select Box from the service options provided.
  6. Enter your Box login credentials.                      
  7. Click Allow DocSend to access your Box account so you can start uploading files.

Connect Google Drive

To upload your Google Drive content, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to docsend.com.
  2. Click Content library in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Cloud storage.
  5. Select Google Drive from the service options provided.
  6. Enter your Google login credentials.
  7. Click Allow DocSend to access your Google account so you can start uploading files.

Connect OneDrive

Since OneDrive and OneDrive for Business are powered by Microsoft, the steps to connect these services are the same.

Note: You need to connect to each provider individually.

To upload content from your OneDrive account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to docsend.com.
  2. Click Content library in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Cloud storage.
  5. Select OneDrive/OneDrive for Business from the service options provided.     
  6. Enter your Microsoft login credentials associated with OneDrive/OneDrive for Business or SharePoint Online.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Accept when it asks whether you want this app to access your info.

Connect Egnyte

To upload your Egnyte content, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to docsend.com.
  2. Click Content library in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Cloud storage.
  5. Select Egnyte from the service options provided.
  6. Enter your Egnyte domain.
  7. Allow DocSend to access your Egnyte account so you can start uploading files.

Connect SharePoint online

To upload your SharePoint content, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to docsend.com.
  2. Click Content library in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Click Cloud storage.
  5. Select SharePoint Online from the service options provided.
  6. Enter your Microsoft login credentials.
  7. Click Allow DocSend to access your Microsoft/SharePoint account so you can start uploading files.

Manage external cloud storage providers

You can have all your preferred providers connected and switch from one provider to another whenever you need to upload your documents.

Disconnect external cloud storage provider

To disconnect an external cloud storage provider:

  1. Navigate to your Settings page.
  2. Go to the Connected Apps page.
  3. Click Disconnect under the application you wish to disconnect.
