How to add HubSpot to Dropbox Dash

You can add your HubSpot account to Dropbox Dash so you can access and search your HubSpot content (deals and companies) directly within Dash.

This requires requires OAuth authentication to ensure Dash only retrieves information relevant to your data, giving you full control over what Dash can access. 

Requirements

To add HubSpot to Dash, make sure you meet the following requirements:

• Admin approval: The app must be enabled by your Dash admin. If HubSpot isn’t listed in your Apps, contact your admin. Learn more about admin approval.
• Authorization: You must authorize Dash in HubSpot.
• Active account: You need an active account with HubSpot.

Integration features

For HubSpot, Dash captures the following details:

• Deals: Sales opportunities tracked through HubSpot. Dash gathers information on deals, including deal names, pipelines, deal stage, and deal amount so it can search these items.
• Companies: Organizations you interact with saved on HubSpot. Dash collects company names, domain, industry, city, country, and annual revenue so it can search these items.

API permissions

When adding HubSpot to Dropbox Dash, Dash requests the following authorizations:

• OAuth: Needed to set up OAuth for authentication to securely connect Dash and HubSpot.
• Read contact information: Allows Dash to access your contact list in HubSpot.
• Read deal information: Allows Dash to access information about your sales deals.
• Read company information: Allows Dash to access information about companies you’ve saved to HubSpot. 
• Read user information: Allows Dash see the HubSpot users in your organization. 
• Read content-related items: Allows Dash to access marketing content such as websites landing pages, emails, blog posts, and campaigns.

How to add your HubSpot account to Dropbox Dash

To add HubSpot to Dropbox Dash:

1. Log in to dash.ai.
2. Click Apps near the bottom of the left sidebar.
3. Locate HubSpot in the apps list.
4. Click ☑ (add) to the right of HubSpot.
5. Enter your HubSpot login credentials, or select an account to connect to Dash.
6. Click Continue to log in to Dropbox Dash.
   • You’ll be presented with the permissions required by Dash. 
7. Click Allow to continue.

How to remove your HubSpot account from Dropbox Dash

1. Log in to dash.ai.
2. Click Apps near the bottom of the left sidebar.
3. Locate HubSpot in the apps list.
4. Click ✗ (more options) to the right of HubSpot.
5. Click ☑ Disconnect.
6. Click Disconnect again when prompted by the pop-up.

How to check your added apps

To check what apps you’ve added to Dropbox Dash:

1. Log in to dash.ai.
2. Click Apps near the bottom of the left sidebar.

You’ll see a list of your added apps in the Added section, along with their connection status.

Admins: How to add HubSpot for your team

Before your team members can connect their HubSpot accounts to Dropbox Dash, you’ll need to enable it in the admin console. To do this:

1. Log in to dash.ai using your admin credentials.
2. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the lower left.
3. Select Admin console.
4. Click Apps. 
5. Click the More apps tab. 
6. Click ☑Add to the right of HubSpot.
7. Click Enable HubSpot in the pop-up window.

You’ll see a notification that says HubSpot was enabled.
