How to receive a fax in Dropbox Fax

To receive a fax, you'll need to subscribe to one of our paid plans. Buying and maintaining an inbound fax line costs us money, so it's something we have to charge for. All of our plans come with an inbound fax line with the area code of your choice, a monthly fax page allotment, a 30-day free trial. You can check out the full details on the pricing page here.

Once you upgrade, you'll be prompted to select your country, state/region, and an area code. Our system will then email you with your new fax number, and you’ll see it in the lower left corner of your Dropbox Fax screen.

Any fax you receive will then be emailed to you and stored in your Dropbox Fax account.

Note: It's important that you include the +1 and the area code when giving out your fax number, even if your senders are local.
