How to manage template link notifications in Dropbox Sign

The information in this article applies to all Dropbox Sign users.

When someone shares a template link with you, you’ll receive an email containing a copy of the signed document each time someone signs using that template link. If you no longer want to receive these emails, you can turn off this feature.

Turn off notifications for your template links

  1. Log in to sign.dropbox.com.
  2. Select Templates in the left sidebar.
  3. Click My Templates in the dropdown.
  4. Click the title of the template link you want to update.
  5. Click “v” (arrow icon) next to Ways to sign in the right sidebar.
  6. Uncheck Receive signed copies.

Turn off notifications for team template links (admins)

Admins can also turn off notifications for team template links they didn’t create.

  1. Log in to sign.dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Profile.
  4. Scroll to Notifications.
  5. Uncheck When someone signs my team’s document through a template link.
  6. Click Save.

Note: This setting is turned on by default for all admins.

Turn on notifications for specific template links (admins)

If you’ve turned off notifications but still want updates for certain template links:

  1. Log in to sign.dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Select Templates in the left sidebar.
  3. Click My Templates in the dropdown.
  4. Click (vertical ellipsis) next to the template link.
  5. Click View info.
  6. Click Ways to sign in the right sidebar.
  7. Check Receive signed copies.
  8. Click Save.

Note: This setting is only available to certain admins.
