The information in this article applies to all Dropbox users.

If you find content on Dropbox that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, you can report it using the Report an issue form or by following the steps below.

How to report inappropriate content on Dropbox

  1. Go to the shared content which violates our Acceptable Use Policy and open it.
  2. Select the Help dropbown menu in the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. Click Report this content.
  4. Select the category of abuse you want to report.
  5. Complete the form, including a general description of the issue.
  6. Click Submit.

Note: You can enter your email address even if it’s not required. This allows Dropbox to follow up with additional questions or share the outcome of your report.
