To find out what kind of subscription you have, log in to your Dropbox Fax account and click on your email address in the upper right corner of your home page. A dropdown menu will appear, then click on Settings.
From here, click Billing. Click Subscription in the second section down. It will list which subscription you are on, how much you are paying for it, and whether your plan is billed monthly or annually.
If you're on a free subscription without monthly or annual payments, your account settings won't display the Subscription or Billing Information fields.
