Dropbox native support for Apple silicon (M1)

Dropbox native support for Mac computers with Apple silicon (M1) processors is now available in beta to all users who have opted into Dropbox’s early releases program. Users interested in joining the beta can do so by following the instructions below. 

Beta participants will continue to see improvements to the experience as new updates are released.

If you’d like to test support for Apple silicon:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the top-right corner.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Under Preferences in the General tab, toggle on Early releases.
