Signatures added to PDFs through this feature are for self-signing only.
You can self-sign a document on sign.dropbox.com or on the Dropbox mobile app.
Using this feature will link your Dropbox Sign and primary Dropbox accounts if both are under the same email address. If you don’t already have a Dropbox Sign account, self-signing a PDF will create a Basic account under the email affiliated with your Dropbox account.
Note: Using Dropbox Sign on the web gives you access to more features like editing and security, and allows you to customize settings for your document. In the Dropbox mobile app, you can only self-sign by adding your signature as an image.
