How to manage team members and role permissions

Important note: Dropbox Forms will be discontinued on September 30, 2025. As of September 2, 2025, you’ll no longer be able to create new workflows with Forms, but you’ll be able to view existing workflows as well as export them until the September 30 deadline.

A team consists of all users within a single subscription. All users on a team have access to use the same workflow, and access varies depending on each user's permissions.

How to add new team members

To add team members: 
 
  1. Log in to Dropbox Forms. 
  2. Click More in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Team. The list of current team members will populate. 
  4. Click Invite in the upper right side of the screen.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite. 
  6. Select their access level from the Team Role section.
  7. Click Save.

Note: Dropbox Sign Standard and Premium customers will need to first add team members in Dropbox Sign. Learn how to add users in Dropbox Sign.

How to edit a team member’s role

To edit: 

  1. Log in to Dropbox Forms.
  2. Click More in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Team. The list of current team members will populate. 
  4. Find the name of the team member whose role you’d like to change.
  5. Click the edit icon (pencil) under Actions.
  6. Select their new access level in the Team Role section.
  7. Click Save.
     

How to remove team members 

  1. Log in to Dropbox Forms.
  2. Click More in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Team. The list of current team members will populate. 
  4. Find the name of the team member you’d like to remove.
  5. Click X under Actions to remove the person from your team.
  6. Click Ok to confirm.
