This article describes a feature in the API Dashboard that’s available to admins on all plans — Test mode (free trial account), Essentials, Standard, and Premium. For more information about plans and rate limits, visit Dropbox Sign API Documentation. More information on plan pricing can be found here.

You can use the global view feature in the Dropbox Sign API dashboard to navigate between team member accounts when monitoring API app data. Admins have access to a dropdown menu that displays all team member accounts within their admin account. Once a team member’s account is selected, all categories within the dashboard populate with data specific to that team member’s account. This includes:

  • Insights
  • Signature request status
  • App callbacks
  • Account callbacks
  • API requests
  • Signature request usage
  • CSV download

Note: Apps and keys will always redirect to your API Settings page.

Features

View and search through API app data across different team members

You can select a team member’s account from the dropdown menu to display only data that’s relevant to that account. However, you can further refine the data your dashboard returns by performing a search after selecting a specific team member’s account. Searches only return data that’s relevant to the selected account across all pages.

Note: Organizational admins overseeing multiple teams can select from different team accounts.

Toggle between a team’s Live and Test data

The Sign API dashboard includes a global toggle function for switching between live and test data. Toggling between live and test mode updates the data to display either production or test requests for the selected team account.

This feature provides admins with real-time visibility into the status of their API integrations across different environments.

Support for complex multi-team structures

The global view feature allows accounts with multiple teams to enforce access and control for team members based on their organizational role. This means organizational admins can collaborate across multiple teams while ensuring that sub-team admins only have access to their team’s account activity. The dropdown menu automatically organizes team members into their sub-level teams.

The global view feature accommodates a multi-team structure of up to 3 levels and 50 teams.
