The Dropbox app for Gemini lets you access files in your Dropbox account directly from the Gemini app. You can use Dropbox files in conversations, save Gemini responses to Dropbox, organize files and folders, manage sharing, and create file requests.

How to connect your Dropbox account to Gemini

1. Log in to Gemini.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Personal Intelligence.
4. Click Connected apps.
5. Click Other.
6. Toggle Dropbox to On.
7. Click Allow.
8. Click Continue.
9. Click Agree and continue to connect your Google account.
10. Click Allow.

How to use the Dropbox app for Gemini

1. Log in to Gemini.
2. Enter @Dropbox in the prompt box.

Once connected, you can ask Gemini to find files, summarize content, organize folders, create shared links, and more.

Security and permissions

The Dropbox app for Gemini follows your existing Dropbox permissions and team policies.

• Gemini can only access files you’re authorized to view or use.
• Existing sharing settings and permissions remain unchanged.
• Team policies and admin controls remain unchanged.

You can disconnect the Dropbox app from Gemini at any time.

To disconnect Dropbox from Gemini:

1. Log in to dropbox.com.
2. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the bottom-left corner.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Apps.
5. Click the arrow next to Gemini.
6. Click Disconnect.
