To send a test_mode request using the Dropbox Sign API and Zapier you'll need:
Setting up your accounts
To connect your Dropbox Sign account to Zapier, you'll need an active Dropbox Sign API account, and at least one active template set up. Creating your Zap
Please create your Zap on Zapier. Dropbox Sign can be the trigger or the action step of your Zap. Additionally, Zapier supports allowing Dropbox Sign to be the trigger and action step in your Zap. For information on the basics of Zapier, like setting up your Zaps, start here.
Connecting your Dropbox Sign API account
Connecting your Dropbox Sign account as a Trigger
- Log in to your Zapier account.
- After logging in please select Make a Zap from thetop-right corner of your dashboard.
- Search for and select Dropbox Sign as the Trigger.
- Select your Dropbox Sign trigger.
- Select Connect account or if you've already authorized your Dropbox Sign account, choose the account to connect to and click Save + Continue.
Connecting your Dropbox Sign account as an Action
- Log in to your Zapier account.
- After logging in, please select Make a Zap from the top-right corner of your dashboard.
- Search for and select Dropbox Sign as the Action.
- Choose an action, then click Save + Continue.
- Select Connect account, or if you've already authorized your Dropbox Sign account, choose the account to connect to and click Save + Continue.
- Select your template.
- Under Is Your Dropbox Sign API Plan Paid?, select No.
- At this point, you can test out your Zap, Add a Step, or click Finish to finalize your Zap.
What to do if your free Dropbox Sign account won't connect
- When setting Is your API Plan Paid?, select Use Custom Value.
- After choosing Use Custom Value a new field will be appended, titled Custom Value for Is your Dropbox Sign API plan paid?.
- In the appended field type 1.
