Fix unauthorized API key error in Dropbox Sign for Salesforce

If you experience an error when connecting the Dropbox Sign for Salesforce integration, please check the Salesforce error logs. If there's an isApiConnected() error Unauthorized API key message that means that the API key to your Dropbox Sign account does not match the API key that Salesforce is expecting.

Not to worry, generating a new API Key can be done on sign.dropbox.com in a few simple steps:

  1. Log in to sign.dropbox.com and click on your username in the top-right.
  2. In the drop down menu, click Settings.
  3. After the settings page loads, click the API tab.
  4. On the API page, click Renew Key, then click OK on the alert to finalize the changes.
