Templates must be created in Salesforce when using the Dropbox Sign for Salesforce integration. Any templates created on sign.dropbox.com or when using the Dropbox Sign API as a standalone product cannot be used in Salesforce.
Templates created on Salesforce can be used on sign.dropbox.com and also when using the API.
