Zapier - Sending a signature request from a template

Note: Using Zapier with Dropbox Sign requires an API plan. Please see our Pricing Page for more information. 

Zapier makes sending a signature request from a template quick and easy. The following steps walk you through the process of sending.

  1. To get started, log in to your Zapier account.
  2. Create a New Zap using Dropbox Sign as the action.
  3. Send Signature Request from Template is the default action. Click Save + Continue.
  4. Connect your Dropbox Sign account using email and password. Click Save + Continue.

Note: If you use Google ID to log in to your Dropbox Sign account, you'll need to reset your password and use the traditional username and password combination.

  1. After connecting your Dropbox Sign account, you'll be prompted to select a template. Next, you'll be asked “Is Your Dropbox Sign API Plan Paid?”. If you don't have a paid account, please select No. Otherwise, select Yes to send legally-binding signature requests.
  2. Please complete the setup of the chosen template. If you want to use custom fields, you'll be able to feed data from the source of your choosing.
  3. Click Continue to finalize the Zap.
  4. Congratulations! You've now set up your Zap using Dropbox Sign to send a signature request from a template.
