The information in this article applies to customers on DocSend Standard, Advanced, Advanced Data Rooms, and Enterprise.
Note: External contacts can upload files without a DocSend account. External contacts can only select files from their device; uploading directly from cloud providers isn’t supported.
Standalone file requests have their own dedicated links. All files uploaded by visitors using the file request link will be uploaded directly to a team folder within Content library. Standalone file requests can be managed from the file requests page.

When an external contact uploads files using a Space file request, those files will be immediately visible to anyone with access to the Space. To control visibility, you can hide the file by disallowing access, or for customers on Advanced or Enterprise, apply Granular Space Permissions.
Note: Internal visits to file requests are always tracked, regardless of company setting configuration.
