Teams on Dropbox Sign Premium can mask sensitive data received from senders. Learn how to mask document data.

By default, only admins can download masked document data. However, as a Dropbox Sign admin, you can grant this permission to others in the admin console.

How to allow senders to download masked document data

To allow senders to download masked document data as a CSV:
  1. Log in to sign.dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the top-right corner.
  3. Click Admin console.
  4. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  5. Click Documents and templates in the left sidebar.
  6. Toggle Allow sender to download document CSV to On or Off.
  7. Click Save settings in the bottom right.

If you don’t wish to allow senders to download masked document data as a CVS, there are other ways senders can view masked data.
