How to turn off comment notifications

This article describes a feature available to all Dropbox users.

You can turn off comment notifications on dropbox.com or the Dropbox mobile app.

To unsubscribe from comment notifications on dropbox.com:

Log in to dropbox.com.
Click the name of the file you want to disable comments on.
- Make sure you have your previews set to Full screen.
Click the comment box icon in the top right.
Click “…” (ellipsis) in the comments panel.
Click Unsubscribe.

To unsubscribe from comment notification in the mobile app:

Open the Dropbox app.
Tap the file you want to disable comments on.
Tap the textbox that says Type a comment.
In the top left-hand corner, tap the bell icon. If it’s blue, that means you’re subscribed to notifications.
