How to open the Dash desktop app

You can open Dash in a full, resizable app window that stays open while you work, or as a launcher that gives you quick access to your Dash search bar, upcoming meetings, and recently opened files.

There are two ways to open the app:

• Use keyboard shortcuts:
  • Press control-e (Windows) or command-e (macOS) to open the launcher.
  • Press control-shift-e (Windows) or command-shift-e (macOS) to open the full Dash desktop app.
• Open the full app from your list of installed applications or programs, just like you would with any other app.

The app stays open until you close it by quitting or clicking the X button. You can close the launcher by clicking anywhere outside of the launcher window.
