Dropbox Basic Extra is available to some Dropbox Basic customers in Belgium, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Taiwan.

If you’re on Dropbox Basic, you may be able to increase your storage by upgrading to Dropbox Basic Extra. Dropbox Basic Extra includes all the features included in Dropbox Basic, plus additional storage space of 50 GB instead of 2 GB. Learn how to check how much storage space you have left.

How to upgrade to Dropbox Basic Extra

You can only upgrade to Dropbox Basic Extra if you’re prompted to do so. To upgrade to Dropbox Basic Extra:

  1. Log in to dropbox.com.
  2. Review the Dropbox Basic Extra banner at the top of your browser window and click Click to learn more.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your checkout.

How to cancel or downgrade your Dropbox Basic Extra subscription

You can cancel or downgrade your Dropbox Basic Extra subscription at any time. When you cancel, your account changes to a free Dropbox Basic account at the end of your current billing cycle. Learn how to cancel or downgrade your subscription.
