The Action history page in the admin console shows a complete record of all actions performed in Protect and Control to fix or clean up access issues. It helps you track updates, confirm whether actions succeeded, and troubleshoot errors.
Action history entries can include:
- Link updates or link-type changes
- Removal of external, personal, or unnecessary access
- Cleanup actions on stale or abandoned items
- Automated or admin-initiated changes
- Error or Skipped messages
- CSV exports
You can use the Action history page alongside other Protect and Control tools, such as policies, Overview reports, and Stale access reports, to monitor, enforce, and audit data access across connected content sources.
