Content recommendations in Dropbox DocSend

Overview

Content Recommendations allow all users in the same company account to view and utilize content more effectively by seeing which uploads have the most activity and engagement across the entire account. 

Where to Find Content Recommendations 

You can access recommended content through multiple workflows on DocSend, including:

• DocSend’s Chrome extension, 
• Outlook add-in, 
• The In-app (share content) workflow, or 
• When managing content in Spaces

DocSend Chrome Extension

DocSend will show the last 10 pieces of content associated with the recommendation type selected.

DocSend Outlook Add-in

Similar to the Chrome extension, DocSend will show the last 10 pieces of content associated to the recommendation type selected, excluding Space uploads, in the Outlook add-in. 

In-app (Share Content)

DocSend will show the last 10 pieces of content associated with the recommendation type. This does not include content added to your Spaces.

Spaces

DocSend will show the 10 pieces of content that were most recently added to your Spaces. 

Important: Content that you add to other users’ Spaces as a collaborator will not appear in your Recently used section.

Content Recommendation Types

Recently Used

The 10 pieces of content that were most recently added or used by all users under your company account.

Most Engaging (Standard, Advanced, Enterprise only)

The top 10 pieces of content housed under this tab has the most engagement based on the following performance metrics that occurred in the last 30 days:

• Number of visits
• Average number of visits per visitor
• Average percent completion

Newly Added (Standard, Advanced, Enterprise users only)

The top 10 most recently added or updated pieces of content in your content library. This section is particularly helpful to other users if the content has been updated or if new important uploads have been added to your DocSend account.
