How to use the admin console search bar

This article describes a feature available to certain types of admins on Dropbox team accounts.

The admin console search bar allows you to quickly find settings, members and groups from your team, and help center articles directly from the admin console.

Note: The admin console search bar can’t search for files or folders. Learn more about searching your content.

To use it:

Log in to dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
Click Admin console in the left sidebar.
Click the search bar at the top of your screen.
Enter your query.

As you type, suggestions will appear in a dropdown below the search bar. You’ll see the title of the suggestion, with Settings, Help center article, Member, or Group below it, depending on what kind of result the suggestion is. Clicking a Settings, Member, or Group suggestion will bring you to that location in the admin console. Selecting a Help center article suggestion will open the article in a new tab in your browser.
