  1. Click Dropbox (Dropbox) in your menu bar in the top-right corner of your screen (Mac) or in your taskbar (Windows).
  2. Click the round account menu. Depending on your account, this may appear as your profile photo, your initials, or a person icon.
  3. Click Preferences.
  4. Click the Notifications tab.
  5. Toggle on the notifications you want to receive.

You can also use Pause notifications on the Notifications tab to turn off your notifications for 30 minutes, an hour, until the afternoon, until the end of the day, or until the next day.

Can't find Preferences on the Dropbox desktop app?
