This article includes the Dropbox Shop terms of service for both sellers and buyers.
Seller Terms

Thanks for using Dropbox Shop! These terms of service (“Seller Terms”) cover your use and access as a seller to the Shop feature, including the services, client software and websites used to provide the Shop feature ("Seller Services"). By using Shop as a seller, you’re agreeing to be bound by the Seller Terms.
These Seller Terms are supplemental to Dropbox’s other terms and policies, including our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Business Agreement, and Terms of Service. To the extent these Seller Terms conflict with Dropbox's other terms and policies, the Seller Terms control. By using Shop, you also agree to abide by these terms and policies.
Your rights and responsibilities
United States Only. To use the Seller Services, you must be a resident of the United States. You agree also to only target or promote sales to residents of the United States.
Only sell appropriate content. You may not sell content in a manner that violates Dropbox’s Acceptable Use Policy. You also cannot sell content or use the Seller Services for any purpose that violates Stripe’s Restricted Businesses Policy or PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy. Even if content is otherwise permitted by Dropbox’s Acceptable Use policy, if it violates Stripe’s Restricted Businesses policy or PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy, you may not sell, list, or promote it with the Seller Services. This includes pornographic material of any sort. If you sell, list, or promote content with the Seller Services that, in Dropbox’s sole determination, violates any applicable terms or policies, Dropbox may remove that content without warning and may suspend your usage of the Seller Services without warning.
Respect intellectual property rights. You must ensure that you own the rights to the content you sell, list, or promote with the Seller Services. If you sell, list, or promote content with the Seller Services that appears to violate the intellectual property rights of another party, Dropbox may remove that content without warning and may suspend your usage of the Seller Services without warning.
In the event that Dropbox removes your content from the Seller services for violating these Seller Terms, you agree that Dropbox may, without prior notice to you, process refunds from you to any buyers who have purchased the removed content.
You are the merchant. When you sell content with the Seller Services, you are the Merchant of Record of that transaction. You are responsible for resolving any disputes with your buyers, including any chargebacks. You are also responsible for remitting any sales tax that may be applicable in your or the buyer’s jurisdiction.
You are liable for your content. You are responsible for the content you sell, list, and promote with the Seller Services. If anyone brings a claim, cause of action, or dispute against us related to your selling, listing, or promotion of content or your other actions on or use of the Seller Services, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to any such claim, cause of action, or dispute.
Use of Stripe and PayPal. Stripe and PayPal are providing payment services for Dropbox Shop. In order to use the Seller Services, you must create a Stripe or PayPal account and agree to Stripe’s Terms and Conditions or PayPal’s Terms and Conditions, respectively. In the event that Stripe or PayPal suspends or otherwise restricts your use of their services, you will not be able to use the Seller Services. Stripe or PayPal may charge a transaction fee for each item sold with the Seller Services, and you agree that you are responsible for this fee.
Be honest with us. The information you give Dropbox about yourself must be accurate. You may not use false information or impersonate another person or company on the Seller Services.
Dropbox’s rights and responsibilities
Review of content. Dropbox may inspect, including with human review, any content you upload to the Seller Services.
Removal appeals. If you believe that content Dropbox has removed from the Seller Services does not violate any applicable policy, you may contact Dropbox at support-shop@dropbox.com. At its sole discretion, Dropbox may consider your submission and decide whether to re-list the content.
Beta
Dropbox is still testing and evaluating the Seller Services, and the Seller Services may not be as reliable as Dropbox’s other services. Dropbox may, at its sole discretion, decide to end the Dropbox Shop feature and terminate access to the Seller Services. If we do so, we will provide reasonable advance notice at the email address associated with your account.
These terms will apply to your use of the Seller Services while the Seller Services are in Beta. In the event that Dropbox makes the Seller Services available as a general release, new terms will apply.
Buyer Terms

Thanks for using Dropbox Shop! These terms of service (“Buyer Terms”) cover your use and access as a buyer to the Shop feature, including the services, client software and websites used to provide the Shop feature ("Buyer Services"). By using Shop as a buyer, you’re agreeing to be bound by the Buyer Terms.
These Buyer Terms are supplemental to Dropbox’s other terms and policies, including our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Business Agreement, and Terms of Service. To the extent these Buyer Terms conflict with Dropbox's other terms and policies, the Buyer Terms control. If you do not already have a Dropbox Account, the Terms of Service are hereby incorporated by reference, and by agreeing to the Buyer Terms and using Shop, you also agree to them (except that if you wish to opt out of arbitration, you must do so within 30 days of first using the Buyer Services by emailing support-shop@dropbox.com.
Your purchases
The Shop Seller from whom you make a purchase with the Buyer Services is the merchant of record for the transaction. In the event of a dispute between you and the Seller, the Seller is responsible for resolving the dispute, and you should contact them directly. Dropbox is not responsible for resolving any such dispute, and you agree that Dropbox does not have any obligation to process refunds on your behalf.
Dropbox reserves the right to remove content from Shop and the Buyer Services if that content, in Dropbox’s sole determination, violates any applicable terms or policies. Dropbox also reserves the right to remove content in response to third-party requests or valid legal process. In the event that Dropbox removes content from Shop or the Buyer Services, you will no longer be able to access that content via the Buyer Services, even if you have previously purchased it. Dropbox may, at its sole discretion, process a refund on your behalf in the event you can no longer access previously purchased content via the Buyer Services due to Dropbox’s removal of that content.
Use of Stripe and PayPal

In order to use the Buyer Services, you must use Stripe or PayPal and agree to Stripe’s Terms and Conditions or PayPal’s Terms and Conditions, respectively.
