Can I edit my docs offline using the Paper mobile app?
Yes, offline editing is available for any doc that you've previously accessed in the Paper mobile app.
You can read, edit, and comment without an internet connection. Changes sync with Paper when you come back online. When you work offline, you'll see a banner on your doc that says No internet connection (Android) or View and edit offline (iOS).
Where can I see all my notifications?
All notifications you receive from your Paper mobile app are visible in the Notifications tab.
How do I organize Paper docs into folders from my mobile device?
On the Paper mobile apps, you can browse your folders, search your folders by name, and access all folder contents. You can also add docs to a folder. To do so:
- Open a doc.
- Tap “⋮” (vertical ellipsis on Android) or "…" (ellipsis on iPhone/iPad) in the top right.
- Tap Move.
- Select the folder you'd like to move the doc to.
On the Paper app for Android, you can also create and rename folders.
How to create folders on the Paper app for Android
- Tap Browse (Paper icon) on the top left.
- Tap Folders from the dropdown menu.
- Tap the new folder icon (blue folder) in the bottom right.
- Type a name for the folder.
- Tap the checkmark in the top right.

- Select the folder to rename.
