How to view the size of a file or folder

To view the size of a file or folder on dropbox.com:

  1. Log in to dropbox.com.
  2. Make sure that your files and folders are shown as a list.
    • Note: To change the layout of your files and folders, click ✗ (grid organization) on the upper-right corner of your files and folders, and select List.       
  3. The file size will display under the Size column.

Notes: 

  • If you don’t see the Size column, click Details on the upper-right corner of your files and folders, and select Size. A Size column will then appear to the right. You can adjust the column order by moving the column to the left or right.
  • If you can’t see the size of a file or folder, or you see an approximate size, hover over the file or folder, click More options​ (more options), and click Info​ File info, or Info​ Folder info.
