How to view the size of a file

To view the size of a file on dropbox.com:

1. Log in to dropbox.com.
   • Note: Your files and folders need to be in a “list” layout, not “grid”, to see their size.        
2. The file size will display under the Size column.
   • If you don’t see the Size column, hover over one of the column headers and click the dropdown arrow, then click Size.
   • A Size column will then appear to the right. You can adjust the column order by moving the column to the left or right.

How to view the size of a folder

To view the size of a folder on dropbox.com:

1. Log in to dropbox.com.
2. Hover over a column header and click the dropdown arrow, then click Size.
3. Hover over the name of the folder and click the check box that appears on the left.
4. Click  (more options) next to the folder you'd like to calculate the size of.
5. Hover over More, click Calculate size.
6. Wait for the size to be calculated. The folder size will display in the Size column next to the folder once the calculation is done.
