How do I see who is on my Dropbox team?
This information in this article applies to certain types of admins on Dropbox Professional, Essentials, Standard, Business, Advanced, Business Plus, and Enterprise.
To join your Dropbox team, a user can accept an invite to your team and either transfer an existing account to a Dropbox team account or create a new account using their work email address.
You can see your Dropbox team members in your team directory. If you need to remove someone from your team, you can ask your admin to remove them.
How to view your team directory
To view the members of your team:
- Log in to dropbox.com with your team username and password.
- Click your avatar (profile picture or initials).
- Click View team and groups.
You can see both groups and members by switching between the Groups and Members tabs on the left sidebar. Additionally, you’ll be able to see if each team member is a member or admin. Learn how to find your team admin.
How to hide members from your team directory
Certain types of admins can turn on directory restrictions for individual team members to hide them from the team directory. Hidden members won't show up in other team member’s sharing suggestions (excluding members they’ve shared with before).
To hide individual team members from your team directory:
- Log in to dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
- Click Admin console in the left sidebar.
- Click Settings.
- Under Members, click Directory restrictions.
- Add the names of any team members you’d like to be restricted from the directory.
Notes:
- Team admins will be able to see all members, including those with directory restrictions turned on.
- Directory restrictions don't apply to Dropbox Paper, Replay, and eSignature features. That means hidden members will still show up in other team members’ sharing suggestions.
