Can I share a Dropbox account with someone else?
For security reasons, sharing an account with others isn't recommended. Sharing your Dropbox password with others also violates the Dropbox Terms of Service.
It’s not necessary to share an account in order to share files with someone. In this case, the person you want to share with should create their own account, and then you can send a link to the file.
