How to delete your Dropbox Dash account

 The information in this article applies to admins on Dropbox Dash teams.

Dropbox Dash team admins can delete their team’s account and data at any time. Doing so will remove all member data, added apps, and search and chat history within 30 days of making the deletion request.

Note: The instructions in this article only apply to credit card customers. If you’re a manual invoicing customer and want to delete your Dash account, contact Dropbox support.

How to cancel your Dropbox Dash subscription

 

To delete your Dropbox Dash account, you’ll need to cancel your Dropbox Dash subscription and put your Dash account into locked state.

 

To cancel your Dropbox Dash subscription:

 

  1. Log in to dash.ai with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Admin console in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Billing.
  4. Scroll to Dash Business.
  5. Click Cancel plan.
  6. Select the reason you’re canceling.
  7. Click Continue with cancellation.
  8. Under Please acknowledge the following, check all boxes.
  9. Click Complete cancellation

 

Your account will move into locked state at the end of your current billing period.

How to delete your Dropbox Dash account and information

 

Once your account is in locked state, you can delete your Dash account and information:

 

  1. Log in to dash.ai with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Manage Dash plan.
  3. Click Delete Dash data.
    • You can also choose to purchase a Dash plan from this screen by clicking Buy Dash plan.
  4. Review the information on the next page about what deleting your Dash team means.
  5. Click Delete permanently.
  6. Enter “permanently delete” into the text box.
  7. Click Delete permanently.

 

Your team’s data, including yours, will be permanently deleted within 30 days of making the request.
