The Dropbox client will support both personal and business Dropbox accounts at once. To support this, the desktop client needs to rename the (now multiple) Dropbox folders locally to make it clear which is which. So, whereas on a computer a Dropbox user used to just have this entry in their home folder when they installed Dropbox:
They may now have this if they have linked their personal and business accounts:
Note: "Personal" may be translated.
For existing clients, when the user links a second account, we will also create a hidden junction on Windows in the old Dropbox location that points to the first account that was linked. E.g.:
Dropbox -> C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Dropbox (<BUSINESS_NAME>)
That is, the Dropbox folder was moved to Dropbox (<BUSINESS_NAME>), where <BUSINESS_NAME> is the name of the Dropbox Business account, and the junction at Dropbox points at this new labeled folder.
