How to sign an addendum to use Dropbox Passwords

This information is specific to customers on Dropbox Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise.

If your team has a negotiated contract or a HIPAA BAA, you may need to sign an addendum for team members to use Dropbox Passwords.

To do so:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com using your admin credentials.
  2. Click Admin console.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Under Additional settings, click Passwords.
  5. Click Sign Addendum next to Dropbox Passwords Access.
  6. Read through the entire addendum.
  7. Click Agree.

Note: Once this action is completed, it can only be undone by contacting support.

After signing the addendum, Dropbox Passwords will be turned on for your team. Dropbox Passwords can be turned off by using the toggle in the Passwords page of the Admin console.

A copy of your signed addendum will be saved to your top-level Dropbox folder. You can also save a copy to your computer by clicking Download Addendum to the right of Dropbox Passwords Access.
