Extended version history

The Dropbox Data Governance Add-On increases file version history to 10 years, so teams have more time to recover files.

How to get the Data Governance Add-On

To purchase the Data Governance Add-On, contact your Dropbox sales executive or fill out the Dropbox Sales contact form.

If you don't have a dedicated sales executive, your team can purchase or remove the Data Governance Add-On in the admin console. 

To do this:

  1. Log in to dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Admin console.
  3. Click Billing.
  4. Under Available add-ons, click Add or Remove next to Data Governance.
  5. Click Confirm.

When you purchase the add-on, you'll be charged at a prorated amount for your current billing period. At the start of your next billing period, you'll be charged for the full amount of the add-on, in addition to your subscription cost.

When you remove the add-on, your selection will go into effect on your next renewal.
