How to edit information on a Dropbox invoice
The information in this article applies to all Dropbox customers paying by credit card, PayPal, or direct debit.
Legally, Dropbox must display the same billing information on your invoice that you entered at the time of your purchase.
To update the billing name, billing address, or VAT ID (future invoices only) on your Dropbox invoice, follow the instructions for your plan below.
Dropbox Plus
Note: It’s not possible to change information on existing invoices for a Dropbox Plus account. The following steps only change the billing information on future invoices.
To edit the billing information on future invoices for your Dropbox Plus account:
- Log in to dropbox.com.
- Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the top-right corner.
- Click Manage account.
- Click Billing in the left sidebar.
- To edit future invoices, click Update or Add invoice details next to Invoice details.
- Click Save changes.
From now on, future invoices will display your new account details. To access an invoice, visit your billing page.
Note: If you’re on Dropbox Plus, you can update the name that appears on future invoices. This also changes the name that appears on past invoices. The name on the invoice must be the same name that’s associated with your account.
