How to manage Dropbox Capture for your team

Certain types of admins can turn Dropbox Capture on or off for their team, as well as manage closed caption settings for Dropbox Capture. Team members are able to view and comment on recordings shared on capture.dropbox.com as well as add recordings to any team collections.
How to allow or block use of Dropbox Capture for your team
To allow use of Dropbox Capture for your team:
- Log in to dropbox.com using your admin credentials.
- Click Admin console.
- Click Settings.
- Under Apps, click App permissions.
- Search for “Dropbox Capture" in the search bar.
- Check the box next to Dropbox Capture in the list.
- Click “…” (ellipsis) and select Allow, Block, or Set to default.
- Select Allow to allow use of Dropbox Capture.
- Select Block to block use of Dropbox Capture.
- Select Set to default to return app permission Dropbox Capture settings to default.
How to turn Dropbox Capture closed captions on or off for your team
To turn captions on or off for your team:
- Log in to dropbox.com using your admin credentials.
- Click Admin console.
- Click Settings.
- Under Additional settings, click Capture.
- Toggle Closed Captions on or off.
- Click Save.

How to use collections with your team
My Teams is a shared space for Dropbox teams. You can create folders where team members can collaborate to manage captures, add comments, and automatically be notified of any changes.
Once you create a team collection, just add a capture and everyone associated with the collection will automatically be notified, if your team is 30 people or less.
To create a new collection:
- Log in to Dropbox Capture.
- Click Create Collection next to Team collections.
- Enter the name you wish to title your collection and click the check mark.
To delete a collection:
- Log in to Dropbox Capture.
- Scroll to the collection you wish to delete.
- Hover over the collection name and click “…”.
- Click Delete.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
