Dropbox team Dashboard overview

This article describes a feature available to admins on Dropbox team accounts.

The team dashboard provides key insights into your team’s activities as well as shortcuts to important and common admin actions.

How to view the team dashboard

Note: If you’re an admin for both a Dropbox team account and a Dash team account, you’ll see a combination of the following information when you view the dashboard.

Click the tab below that matches your experiences to see information about your team insights.
  1. Log in to dropbox.com using your admin credentials.
  2. Click Admin console in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Dashboard in the sidebar.

From the Dashboard you can:

  • To do: See any pending invites or action items for your account. 
  • Team usage
    • View how many licenses are in use and add more as needed.
    •  Manage who is on your team; invite and approve team members.
    • View and manage your team’s storage usage.
  • Team Security: See your team’s security statuses.
  • Billing: View your Dropbox Plan, upcoming charge amount, and billing date. 

Team admins of Advanced and Enterprise teams will also see the option to view external sharing and create a report of all team files, folders, and links shared externally.

To access the Dash dashboard:

 

  1. Log in to dash.ai with your admin credentials.
  2. Click your avatar (profile picture/initials) in the lower left.
  3. Select Admin console.

 

From the dashboard you can:

 

  • Add apps: Click View apps to go the Apps page where you can add new apps to Dash.
  • Review data policy: Click Learn more to open the Dropbox Dash data policy. Learn more about Dropbox Dash security standards. 
  • Track team usage: The Team usage section shows how many Dash licenses your team is currently using, and how many licenses remain, as well as how many apps are currently added to Dash. You can also click Invite members to add new people to your Dash team.
  • Review your privacy settings: The Team security section shows the current security settings active for Dash, including two-step verification and public sharing for stacks.
  • View billing information: The Billing section shows your current plan, the amount and date of your next invoice, and your billing period.
