This feature is only available to people with a Dropbox Professional
While a file is syncing, you can prioritize it to sync before others in the Dropbox app on your computer. You won’t be able to prioritize folders or package files.
To prioritize a file in your sync queue:
- Click Finder (Mac) or Start (Windows) and then click your Dropbox folder.
- Drag and drop the file you want to sync into your Dropbox folder.
- While you see the blue syncing icon on it, right click on the file and select Sync Now.
- That file will prioritize over all files that you haven't selected to Sync Now.
Note: If you create a shared link to a file, it will automatically add that file to the group of prioritized ones.
