How to manage Send and track for your team

If you’re an admin on a Dropbox Business or Business Plus account, you can manage your team’s use and access of Send and track.

How to turn Send and track on or off for your team

To turn Send and track on or off for your team:

  1. Log in to dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Admin console in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Under Additional settings, click Send and track. 
  5. Toggle Send and track to On or Off.

If you’re an admin on Dropbox Business or Business Plus, you can manage external sharing settings for Send and track links. Learn how to manage external sharing settings.


You can also monitor your team’s Send and track activity from the Member activity tab in the admin console. Learn how to monitor your team’s Send and track activity.

Important:

  • Standard file recovery periods and options don’t apply to files deleted directly from the Send and track feature. Deleting a file from Send and track is permanent, and any associated metadata or data analytics can’t be recovered once the file is deleted.
  • Any files added to Send and track before February 15, 2024 won’t be added to the “Send and track” folder on your Dropbox account. Deleting these files is permanent, and any associated metadata or data analytics can’t be recovered once the files are deleted.
