How to manage Send and track for your team

The features described in this article are available to customers on Dropbox Business and Business Plus.
Note: The dropbox.com Send and track workflow operates separately from DocSend standalone plans. To learn more about DocSend, visit the DocSend help center.
If you’re an admin on a Dropbox Business or Business Plus account, you can manage your team’s use and access of Send and track.
Notes: The following features and settings don’t apply to Send and track links:
- The shared file link settings in the admin console
- The permanent deletion setting in the admin console
- The commenting setting in the admin console
- The viewer info setting in the admin console
How to turn Send and track on or off for your team
To turn Send and track on or off for your team:
- Log in to dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
- Click Admin console in the left sidebar.
- Click Settings.
- Under Additional settings, click Send and track.
- Toggle Send and track to On or Off.

Important:
- Standard file recovery periods and options don’t apply to files deleted directly from the Send and track feature. Deleting a file from Send and track is permanent, and any associated metadata or data analytics can’t be recovered once the file is deleted.
- Any files added to Send and track before February 15, 2024 won’t be added to the “Send and track” folder on your Dropbox account. Deleting these files is permanent, and any associated metadata or data analytics can’t be recovered once the files are deleted.
