Types of Email Notifications

As Visits Occur

This email notification triggers immediately once a visitor accesses any of your created links.  This will enable you to reach out to your visitor as the visit occurs. The email notification will consist of the following visit information:

  • Visitor Identity: Device used, geolocation.
  • Content Viewed: How much of the document the visitor viewed (%)
  • Time Spent: Quick snapshot of the time spent on the document. Please note, the visit may still be ongoing so please review the document details in the Content section for more accurate visit information.

When Disabled Links are Opened

This email notification triggers whenever a visitor accesses a disabled link you created.  This is a great way to gauge interest on disabled content. Visitors attempting to access your disabled link will not be able to see the content and will not have any visitor information captured. The email notification includes the following visit details:

  • Anonymous visitor
  • Document name and link
  • Ability re-enable link (see Reenable it here)
