There are several ways to share the files and folders in your Dropbox account. Before you share, decide if you want people to be able to edit your file, only view it, or if you need to collect files from someone. Then, decide if you’d like to copy a link directly to your file, folder, or request, or send an invitation via email from your Dropbox account.
If you’re a Dropbox Professional or Business customer, you can also customize sharing invitations and links with your professional branding.
Note: Users with individual Dropbox accounts need to explicitly add folders that you share with them to their Dropbox account. If you are a member of a Dropbox Business team, any personal folders that you share with other teammates will automatically be added to their Dropbox account.
