How to restore a shared file or folder that you previously deleted

If you temporarily deleted a shared file or folder from your account, and you'd like to restore it so that you can have access to it again:

  1. Sign in to
  2. Click Shared in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the Files or Folders tab on the top of the page. 
  4. Locate the file or folder you previously deleted.
  5. Hover over the name of the file or folder and click Add on the right-hand side.

If you permenently deleted the shared file or folder from your account, or if the owner of the shared file or folder unshared the folder with you, only the owner of the shared folder can give you access again. They can do so by sharing it with you.
