How do I find a billing receipt or invoice?

Dropbox issues receipts and invoices for all payments. If you make a payment by debit or credit card, it will appear on your bank statement as DROPBOX*(transaction number).

If you have an annual subscription, you’ll receive a receipt by email after each payment. Alternatively, follow the steps below to access your Dropbox receipt or invoice on dropbox.com.

Billing for Dropbox Plus, Family, and Professional subscriptions

You can access your invoices and receipts on dropbox.com. To do so:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click your avatar (profile picture or initials) in the upper right corner. 
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Billing
    • To see an invoice, click Invoice next to the desired transaction. 
    • To see a receipt, click Receipt next to the desired transaction. 

If a transaction is missing from this list, you can look up a credit/debit card purchase to find your receipt.

Note: Only the Family manager on a Dropbox Family plan can access billing information.

Billing for Dropbox for teams

Certain types of admins can access invoices and receipts on dropbox.com. To do so:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Admin console.
  3. Click Billing.
  4. Click the Billing information tab. 
    • To see an invoice, click Invoice next to the desired transaction. 
    • To see a receipt, click Receipt next to the desired transaction. 

What if I purchased Dropbox on the Apple App Store?

If you purchased Dropbox through the Apple app store, you can view your purchase history to download a receipt. 

What if I purchased Dropbox on Google Play?

If you purchased Dropbox through Google Play, you can view your order history to download a receipt.

How do I print an invoice or receipt?

You can print a Dropbox receipt or invoice if you’re an admin with billing access in your team’s Dropbox account, the manager of a Dropbox Family plan, or if you or have a Professional or Plus account. 

To print an invoice or receipt:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Navigate to Billing.
    • If you’re on a team account, click Admin console, then click Billing.
    • If you’re on a Plus, Professional, or Family plan, click Settings, then click Billing.
  3. Under Billing history, click Invoice or Receipt beside the desired document. 
  4. Click Print invoice or Print receipt.

Why can’t I find a receipt or invoice?

Some types of Dropbox customers can’t access their invoices from dropbox.com:

  • If your Dropbox Business account is paid by bank wire, ACH, or check, an admin will receive an invoice directly via email.
  • If you’re on an Enterprise or Education team, or on a team paying Dropbox through a reseller, your designated billing contact will receive an invoice directly via email.

If one of the above applies to you and you still can't find your invoice, contact invoices@billing.dropbox.com.

If neither of the above apply to you and you still can't find your invoice, contact Dropbox support.
