If you know your Dropbox password but don’t have access to the associated email, log in to Dropbox then immediately change your email address.
If your password has expired, you may be able to update your login details if you’re still logged in on a computer or mobile device. You’ll be notified that your password has expired by email.
To update your email from a connected device:
Once you’ve reset your password, you can log in to your Dropbox account with your updated email.
Note: You can’t update your login details using a connected device if you forget your password or can’t access your email.

If your ESP can help you regain access to your email account, reset your Dropbox password then update your email address.
If your Dropbox account is registered to an email address provided by a former workplace, you may no longer have access to your emails. To receive the security code needed to log in to your Dropbox account, you will need to contact your former employer for assistance.
If you still can’t access your email account, you won’t be able to reset your password or log in to your Dropbox account. This security measure helps us protect your account from unauthorized access. For security reasons, we can’t change the email address on your account for you.
This may mean you can’t access your existing Dropbox account. However, you can still create a new Dropbox account with a different email address.
