How to change your Dropbox billing information

To change your Dropbox billing information, including your credit card number, follow the instructions for your account type.

Dropbox Plus or Professional

Sign in to dropbox.com and then click My billing page to be taken directly to your billing settings. Then, click Update next to Payment method.

Or, you can change your billing information by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click your profile picture or grey circle in the upper right corner. 
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Billing.
  5. Next to Payment Method, click Update.
    • If your payment method is Mobile, you’ll have to visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to manage your payment method.
  6. Add a new credit card number or link a PayPal account. 
  7. If your currency isn’t changing, you can change your zip code or country by adding a payment method that matches your new location.

Dropbox Business team admins

To change the billing cycle for a Dropbox Business account, you must be the team the team admin for your account. Find your team admin.

If you’re a team admin, sign in to dropbox.com and click My team’s billing page to be taken directly to your billing settings. Then, click Update next to Payment method. 

Or, you can change your billing information by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com with your team admin account.
  2. Click Admin console on the left side.
  3. Click the Billing tab.
  4. Next to Payment method, click Update.
  5. Add a new credit card or link a PayPal account.

Did you purchase a Dropbox subscription on your phone?

If you bought a Dropbox subscription from an Android device, you’ll need to update your billing information through Google Play.

If you bought a subscription from an Apple device, you’ll need to update your billing information through iTunes.

Why can’t I find my Dropbox billing information?

If you still can't find your billing information, you may have accidentally signed in to a free Dropbox account that you didn't realize you had. To find the account associated with a charge on your credit card, use our credit card charge look up tool.
