Dropbox Studio: an overview

Dropbox Studio allows you to discover and navigate Dropbox video tools, view your dashboard, and keep all of your work online. You can use it for any stage of the video production process including creating, editing, and publishing. 

How to access Dropbox Studio

If your account is accepted to the alpha experience, to access Dropbox Studio:

1. Log in to dropbox.com.
2. Click Video projects in the left sidebar.

Files available for the Video projects page include content you upload to dropbox.com, content you record with Dropbox Capture, and content you upload to Dropbox Replay.

Features included

• Create and edit video projects: Start from scratch or modify existing video projects by adding, removing, or rearranging video clips and other visual elements. 
• Combine video clips: Merge multiple video files into a single cohesive project.
• Add audio to videos: Add background music, voiceovers, or other audio elements to enhance your project. 
• Create and edit a transcript: Generate a written transcript of the video’s dialogue and then make edits or corrections as needed. 
• Remove filler words: Eliminate unnecessary words from the video or audio files.
• Consolidate video feedback in one place. Reviewers can provide time-stamped feedback, even without a Dropbox account.
• Publish straight to social media: Share completed projects on social media platforms directly from Dropbox.

How to provide feedback 

You can provide feedback for Dropbox Studio while it’s an alpha experience.

 To give feedback: 

1. Log in to dropbox.com.
2. Click Video projects in the left sidebar.
3. Click any project to open it.
4. Click the help icon (question mark) in the upper right.  
5. Click Give feedback. You’ll be taken to a Dropbox Community group for Dropbox Studio.
6. Select the category that relates to your feedback from the dropdown. 
7. Add Title and Details.
8. Click Create post.
